Victorian Cytology Service is seeking a qualified and experienced Grade 1 or Grade 2 scientist who is keen to be part of this respected professional service. VCS is conveniently located in Carlton close to the many cafes and shops of Lygon Street and only a short tram ride from the Melbourne city centre.
Scientist– Grade II
Applications are invited from scientists with at least five years experience in diagnostic gynaecological cytology. The successful applicant will have a degree in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) and the CT(ASC) or CT(IAC) qualification.
Scientist – Grade I
Applications are invited from scientists with experience in diagnostic cytology. The successful applicants will have a degree in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent). Experience in gynaecological cytology and CT(ASC) or CT(IAC) qualification would be an advantage.
The position is full-time but applications from suitably qualified scientists wishing to work part-time hours (minimum 24 hours per week) will also be considered.
