PURPOSE OF POSITION
| This position involves screening and reporting GYN and NON GYN specimens; preparation, attendance and screening Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsies in sector hospitals in Western Zone of SSWAHS. |
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
B.App.Sc(or equivalent) Australian Society of Cytology Certificate CT (ASC) or intention to sit in 2010. Recent experience in reporting Gynaecological and Non Gynaecological Cytology Recent experience in preparation, assessing adequate diagnostic material and screening all procedural specimens & FNA’s Unrestricted NSW drivers licence (P2 licence acceptable) Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Good computer skills, mainframe or PC Demonstrated customer focussed attitude towards work |
Salary range Hospital Scientist State Award $49,762 - $72,081 pa (according to experience)
Salary Packaging and Entertainment Allowance available
