Melbourne Pathology is one of Victoria’s largest diagnostic pathology laboratories, committed to providing high quality health care throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. The cytology laboratory is centrally located in Collingwood, close to the city and well served by public transport.
Applications are invited for an experienced cytology scientist to join our team to perform
screening of gynaecological, exfoliative and fine needle aspiration specimens. The position is
a full-time maternity leave relief position and will be available from July 2010 until March
2011.
The successful applicant will have a degree in laboratory medicine (BAppSc(MLS) or
equivalent), experience in screening gynaecological cytology and be able to work
independently while being part of a team. CT(ASC) preferred and experience in nongynaecological
screening would be an advantage.
