Primary Function:
Utilize cytologic expertise to support customers in gynecological and non-gyn applications.
Reports to:
Managing Director, East Asia, Diagnostic and Surgical Products
Territory:
Primarily Southeast Asia; considerable travel is required
Responsibilities:
Support and Promote ThinPrep Cytology Education.
- Conduct the ThinPrep Pap Test (TPPT) Customer Training Program (In-house and Mobile).
- Support on-site morphology training and educational efforts (pre/post implementation).
- Develop ThinPrep Pap Test morphology: Develop tools and refine standards of TPPT screening and interpretive skills.
- Support slide set production for customer education use.
- Assist with Cytology Education projects as needed.
Support the Implementation of the ThinPrep Imaging System
- Guide and Assist laboratories in the successful implementation and validation of the ThinPrep Imaging Stain and ThinPrep Imaging System
- Provide customer training in the operation in the ThinPrep Imaging System
- Provide ongoing customer support
Promote and support General Cytology Applications and successfully provide technical support.
- Master non-gyn preparation protocols.
- Work with Technical Service to develop strategies to successfully resolve customer issues in a timely fashion.
- Promote and monitor non-gyn usage within regional territories.
Support and Promote Cervista HPV Test.
- Promote and support on-site training and trial within regional territories.
Assist Sales Department to monitor laboratory TPPT conversion and achieve quarterly & annual objectives.
- Visit existing customers on regular basis to resolve any technical issues.
- Promote and support laboratory TPPT implementation and usage.
- Collect laboratory statistics and utilize to promote TPPT implementation.
- Provide regional laboratory conversion data.
- Participate in the sales effort by assisting with prospective customers.
- Understand the region's business plan and actively participate in the forecasting process.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
- Experience with ThinPrep preparation is a plus.
- Extensive travel required.
- Good communication skills in speaking and writing in English.
- Ability to speak in Chinese is preferred, but not a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelors level degree.
- Registered Cytotechnologist (ASCP or IAC) or equivalent.
