Medical Laboratory Technician/Scientist

Aotea Pathology is looking for an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist to come and join our friendly close-knit Cytology team. If you would like to contribute to the wellbeing of our community right from your microscope in the heart of the CBD, then this position is the one for you!

As a qualified Technician/Scientist, you will be responsible for primary and secondary screening of gynaecological and some non-gynaecological samples. Ideally you will have experience with Bethesda 2001 and SNOMED reporting systems, but more important is your attention to detail, conscientious work ethic and enthusiasm for working in an open team environment.

Our modern well equipped laboratory is conveniently located on Courtenay Place amongst the hub of Wellington’s social activity, not to mention the added benefit of superb public transport that stops literally just outside our door!
