VENUE

The Adelaide Convention Centre is located on North Terrace Adelaide.  It is numbered among the world’s top 10 convention centres offering spectacular, ultramodern facilities with commanding views across the River Torrens and the Adelaide Oval.  It is a short walk along North Terrace to Parliament House, the Casino, the Governor’s home, Art Gallery, Museum, Sir Donald Bradman Museum, Mortlock Library, University of Adelaide, Botanic Gardens and National Wine Centre.  Nearby there are other places of interest such as the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Adelaide Oval and the Jam Factory – exhibition space and retail venue for beautiful South Australian crafts.  The East End of Rundle Street café precinct is nearby as are the Central Markets.  Travel can also be arranged to the beachside suburb of Glenelg by tram; day trips to the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale wine areas; or Kangaroo Island for a couple of days.
