VENUE
The Esplanade Hotel Fremantle is located in the heart of Fremantle known
for its rich cultural
diversity. The hotel overlooks green park lands, the Indian Ocean and
Fremantle’s
fishing
boat harbour. It is a leisurely stroll to Fremantle’s alfresco cafes,
cosmopolitan restaurants,
fashionable bars, cinemas, nightclubs and galleries, market bazaars and numerous
historical

SOCIAL EVENTS
The Cocktail Party will be held around the resort pool at the Esplanade Hotel.
The Conference Dinner will be held at the Fremantle Sailing Club with magnificent
views
over Success Harbour to Garden and Rottnest Islands. Transport to and from
the venue will be
arranged. The cost of these functions (with drinks) is included in full registration
(not day).
CANCELLATION
Any cancellation received before 1 September 2006 will entitle the registrant
to a full refund
less $50 administration charge. No refunds will be permitted after this date.
PARKING
Valet car parking for registered resident guests: $12.50 per vehicle per
day.
Valet car parking for non-resident delegates: $22.50 per vehicle per day
(needs prior
reservation).
Secure undercover parking - Collie street multistory car park (adjacent to
hotel) $1.40 per
hour or a parking discount ticket for full day flat rate of $7.00. These
need to be pre-booked
on the registration form and then picked up each day from the registration
desk to be used
when leaving the car park.
PROFFERED PAPERS AND POSTERS
Abstracts for proffered papers and poster presentations may be submitted
on disc or by email
to ascinc@ozemail.com.au. The closing date is 30 July 2006.

The best proffered paper by a cytotechnologist and by a pathology registrar
as well as the
posters judged the best scientific study and the best case report will be
awarded $500, to be
announced at the Annual General Meeting.
