Specimen type: FNA lung mass
Clinical History:
A 56-year-old female was referred to the TQEH radiology department when a routine check-up and a chest x-ray showed an area of pulmonary opacity in the anterior RUL region. The patient was a heavy smoker, otherwise healthy. Following CT scan revealed a 13mm mass lesion strongly suggestive of lung cancer and CT guided FNA was performed
