Fine needle aspiration of a lump in the left breast


Clinical History:

A 42 year old woman presented with a mass in the left medial breast. This had been present relatively unchanged for several years. The woman was well and there is no history of recent pregnancy or oral contraceptive use.

Clinical examination revealed a firm mobile mass in the medial left breast suggestive of a fibroadenoma. Fine needle aspiration was performed.
