Clinical History:
80 year old female presented to her general practitioner with post menopausal bleeding. On examination she had a growth on cervix with contact bleeding. She was referred to Gynaecology Outpatients Clinic for investigation.On initial examination she was found to have blood in vagina and a lesion on the cervix. A cervical smear was taken.
Colposcopy suggested the lesion was cervical carcinoma. A biopsy was taken and she was admitted for staging.
